Feeling Sleepy while studying?

 No I am not going to tell you how to stop feeling sleepy but I will welcome you, if you have any responses I will be happy to know.

The blog is about why someone feels sleepy while studying.. It is a larger extension to a small story from Ramayana.

In Ramayana, there is a character called Kumbhakarna, this demon is the brother of Ravana. Kumbhakarna can sleep for 6 months continuously and thats due to a blessing from Lord Brahma. The story says that Kumbhakarna started his Penance, Gods, were sure that when he completes his penace, he will ask for Indrasana, the throne of Indra.( Indra is the king of Gods.)

So they start to meet Lord Brahma and ask him not to fulfil the desire, but unfortunately when they reach, the place, Lord Brahma has already left. So they request his consort, Lord Saraswati, who being the Goddess of Education, skills and arms, to help them out.

She reaches Kumbhakarna's tongue and makes him pronounce Nidrasana (Nidra meaning sleep and Asana meaning place. ) So he is given the ability to sleep continuously. This is the mythological part.

From then on whenever Lord Saraswathi is called, i.e. when we start Vidyarajana, she comes with Nidra (Sleep) with her. Unless you have the ability to control Sleep, Nidra dominates Indra(or what your actual goal is) and  Saraswati also, and you end up sleeping instead of studying.

So control your sleep to find your Indrasana..

This is fictional story, just to generate interest ,this is only imagination, not a fact, hence you will not find it in Puranas or reference in original Ramayan
